He was commissioned as a US Army Chaplain for over 20 years, is a current university professor and mentor, and has stood at numerous pulpits throughout his life, always with his wife, Verna Isbell, at his side. The Isbell couple settled in Killeen, Texas, nearly 20 years ago after Jack’s retirement. They founded Isbell Property Management near Fort Hood in 2009.
Jack and Verna have been married for over 4 decades and have raised a family of 4 children. They have helped thousands of people through their church efforts over the last 30 years, and are sensitive to the needs and unique lifestyle of military families. With her degree in business administration, Verna is Isbell Property Management’s accountant and bookkeeper. Her experiences as a military wife and mother have given her keen, hands-on experience for managing rental homes – more than any formal training could have.
Jack and Verna are active in the Killeen community, both in their church and through a number of community organizations. They are hands-on managers of their small family owned and operated business, based in Killeen, Texas. They oversee the staff of family members who help with managing the homes and apartments for rent throughout central Texas.
